We are so sorry that we have not written an update in a long time. We are sure that you all would like to know how Nosson Tzvi is doing. It has been quite a lot of ups and downs since we returned home to Palo Alto. Nosson was in the hospital in Santa Clara CA until the end of August. We brought him home and created a mini-hospital situation for him in our house. Nosson Tzvi needs nursing care around the clock, since he can never be left alone. We are hoping that the love and care that he is getting at home will continue to help him get better. Since he came home, he was hospitalized three times for serious viruses. It was quite scary and involved calling 911 and having an ambulance bring him there. Boruch Hashem, he got through them, and is more stable right now. He is also making slow progress. We believe that he can hear what we tell him and sometimes he has been responsive. He cannot talk, since he has a trach, and he is still in a coma, but he can cry. It seems that he cries when he is sad – just yesterday his Morah who used to watch him while I taught, came over and made a little “playgroup” for him and her children. He lay in bed but I guess he was listening because when she and her kids left, he started to cry. He also, Boruch Hashem started opening his eyes. He cannot focus and see yet, but this is still a good sign. We are so thankful to Hashem for each small development. We know that your tefilos, your prayers and good deeds are helping Nosson Tzvi get better. We ask you to please continue to daven for him. We also would like to encourage you to participate in the daily conference calls. Each Rav is unique, and listening to these short calls have been so inspirational to so many people. If you are unable to hear the call on a particular day, you can email [email protected] and they will send you a recording of that shiur.
Thank you all for your love and support, Sarah Felsen

Thank you for sharing with us. We have been davening and doing good deeds for Nosson Tzvi ever since July, and will continue to do this every day. It was a blessing to be at the Long Island challah bake with over 1,000 women gathered together in the merit of the recovery of Nosson Tzvi. You and your family live in our hearts.

Dear Sarah, We are davening and saying tehillim in our group in Vancouver. I spent a few weeks in a coma, during a severe illness, years ago, and during that time, I heard everything that was said to me, and discussed around me. I'm so glad to hear that there was a mini playgroup for him. We are all thinking of you, With love, Sarah and the Berger Family.
